“I had thought I had reviewed this shop before, but was shocked I had not. Jesse consistently goes above and beyond. His philosophy seems to be to make it as easy as possible to own and maintain a boat, so that when one goes on holidays you can enjoy your boat.
Jesse works with the storage company to retrieve or drop off the boat. He launches the boat and has met me early morning to pull the boat out do that I have the time to make the ferry.
One time while launching my boat the kicker shorted out and started to smoke. He immediately made time for me by pulling it back out and rewiring the kicker.
Obviously he does all of my boat maintenance.

“On arrival to my remote, water-access cabin on Nelson Island, I opened the engine hatch to find a bilge full of diesel and my fuel-water separator doing its best impression of a shower. On a late Saturday afternoon in February, options for help seemed slim and the prospect of being stranded well into the following week loomed. However, it was my good fortune to make contact with Jesse McDonald that evening through a mutual acquaintance. Hearing my distress, Jesse graciously offered his time on a Sunday to make the trip from Powell River and lend his assistance. He arrived with a new separator, a couple of cans of diesel and a friendly confidence that immediately put me at ease. Within a short time he had the engines cleaned and running, then took the extra time to test them out with me and make sure they were ready for my return voyage. Jesse embodies the good-natured and resourceful spirit of the people who call the Sunshine Coast their home.
